The food was fantastic. It was the best calamari appetizer we have ever had. The food came out surprisingly fast and was delicious. The fillet was thick and juicy and properly cooked. The lamb chops were grilled and had great flavor, and my scallops were also perfectly done with the noodles being exceptional as well.
Shelby was our server and she did a great job. We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation from High Point University and had a party of 9. All our appetizers were wonderful and all our meals were brought at the same time. Everyone’s meal was delicious and our cocktails were too.
This is my new favorite weekend spot. I have been a few times now, and I always sit at the bar. The food is wonderful! I always start with a crab bisque, and last time for my entree I had the salmon curry! I was nervous to try this one, but 10 out of 10! The drinks for the bar are top notch, and I love that the bartenders are so friendly.
Always an excellent choice. We've been innumerable times over the past 8 years and have never waked away disappointed or dissatisfied no matter where we sit. At the bar or in the bar area? GREAT. Never a downgrade. Jessa has always 100% taken care of everything and everyone, as will the other gentleman (kicking myself for not being able to recall his name, but he's always incredible), even when they're swamped. A tabletop in the dining area is always inviting. The placement is clean and correct, but straightforward and not overbearing. Freya is a saint, and if you happen to have her wait on you, congratulations. The kitchen staff know what they're doing. The dishes are well paired, fresh, priced accordingly, and delicious. Though one might choose this for a once-in-a-while place... don't discount it. It's special. But it's worth more than an anniversary restaurant. I'd absolutely rather spend my money here on excellent service, fantastic cocktails, and damn good food once a quarter, than to double down on half-assed mediocrity elsewhere once a month. Everything is expensive. But you can choose where to spend your time, energy, and money better. 5 stars, hands down, always. FYI : They can get busy, so reservations are usually highly recommended. I'd personally definitely encourage it. Also, they'll do carry-out, but not on the weekends. And if it's furniture market, and you didn't make reservations in advance, go ahead and keep walking. They'll stay booked until a few days after, though that's fairly common sense when dining at a certain caliber during prom or market. Use your best judgment.
Came here with a couple friends after work and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. The seafood tasted fresh, and the grilled shrimp had a nice flavor without being over seasoned. Service was friendly, even though things slowed down a little once the place got busy. Our server checked in enough to make sure we had what we needed. Prices felt fair for the portions, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I'd probly come back to try some of the other seafood dishes next time.
We wish we could get here more often. The staff is so great. So many have been there for years and the new ones are just excellently trained. The food is wonderful. I'd only wish for some more shellfish options...but that just me. The Sea Bass and Mahi are succulent. If nothing else, come for the desert and desert drink options.

Amazing restaurant with amazing staff and food! Lily was an exceptional server and very knowledgeable on the menu, blue water grilled made my family feel welcomed and we will definitely be back. P.s make sure to get the fried oysters 🦪
1st time customer and will be returning! My wife and I started with the escargot($16) and loved it. I ordered 2 small plates with BBQ duck($16) and short rib($17). Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the large plate with tuna($45/MKT). We sat next to a fish tank. Kind of neat watching the unique fish swim around right next to us. Our waitress was wonderful, and checked on us a reasonable amount without being overbearing. We also ordered desserts to go choosing the Caramel banana cheesecake. Very good and interesting take on it as it was served like an egg roll cut in half diagonally. It had tasty candied pecans on top as well. We will absolutely return and try other things on the menu. Overall a very nice 3 course dinner for 2 was $150 and was worth the price. That also included two cocktails that were $16 each.
Firstly, I’d like to shout out our waitress Freya for her top tier service. She was a kind and friendly soul and made our experience truly enjoyable. The restaurant itself set the perfect ambience for a date night. The food was delightful. We enjoyed our cocktails while nibbling on some bread and butter, and our appetizers/small plates were to die for. I unfortunately wasn’t a fan of the filet mignon as the flavor didn’t suit my tastes. However, the halibut entree and everything else was tasty. Overall, we had a great experience, but I will say I don’t think it was worth over the $200 we paid as portions were small.
